Aroma Notes began back in August 2016, when my daughter came to visit from England and I was studying to become an aromatherapist. I didn’t realize at the time that she had been watching my every move as I worked towards certification.
I did wonder though, why she kept telling me to take pictures of everything I made and write down all the ideas that I shared with her continuously.
She really is lovely to talk to and one of the few people that has always listened with complete patience as I chatted, without end, about all my hopes and dreams.
I love what I do, but I am not so enthusiastic about documenting my every move “socially.” My daughter, on the other hand, is brilliant at it, as so many young people are.
Don’t get me wrong, I am extremely computer-literate and love all the digital what-nots. Just not so great at remembering the hashtags, the pictures, the memes, and the never-ending stream of things to do.
Well, one day I came in from work, and “Surprise,” my lovely daughter presented me with “Aroma Notes,” on her phone.
As I looked through the website, read the blog posts she had written, and saw the love she had put into this truly amazing thing (all before I had time to cook dinner) I was filled with … well … love … tears … joy … and everything else you can think of.
Work in progress?
Today, I am somewhat better at this aromatherapy blog thing. The hashtags, the pictures, the memes, and the never-ending stream of things to do, but I would never be here without my lovely daughter by my side, fondly known as eCherie82.
I hope you enjoy the aroma notes we share along the way.

I, like many, have always suffered from terrible allergy symptoms, as well as asthma. At the first sign of watery eyes and restricted breathing, I’d grab my allergy medicine and …

When it’s Thyme for some Cedarwood. Don’t roll your eyes, it’s an aromatherapy blog all about holistic well-being using essential oils… Anyway, I’ve been complaining to my mother since mid-September about being ill.
